HEALTH AND HYGIENE
Upon first entering the shop you will see that hygiene is something we at True Colour take very seriously indeed.
We use disposable inks and needles and have a top of the range autoclave steriliser. We are extremely proud to set our standards above and beyond the licensing requirements and in fact work extremely close with the health department to continuously improve the standards of the industry.
With a nursing and health care background, Sharon is heavily involved with the “Tattoo and Piercing working group” which is made up of environmental health officers and various organisations such as Hep C Scotland and Health Protection Scotland.
She recently did a presentation to EHO’s from every council area in the country demonstrating safe practice within the industry and pointing out key aspects of what they should look for when inspecting a tattoo studio. The feedback was very positive and something we take great pride in.
Sharon has also completed a course on infection prevention and control so you can rest assured you are in good hands.
Our laser is UK built and manufactured. It is also medically accredited, approved by the NHS and developed using the latest in laser technology which delivers reliable and steady results.
We have a fully trained laser technician who will be happy to discuss with you a full range of options for changing/removing your existing tattoos to ensure you get the best result possible.
If complete removal is not necessary or required, it is often highly beneficial to lighten a tattoo in preparation for cover up as it can greatly widen your options with regards to choice of colour and design.
Our tattoo artists are very experienced in cover up and are always on hand to advise you on how many sessions of laser you’ll be likely to need to achieve a successful cover up.
Consultations are free and available any time with no appointment necessary.
Laser sessions start at £30 with laser “packages” available to ensure you get the best value for money.
